Dining halls keep complicated hours. They close between meal periods and shift schedules on weekends and breaks, which is how you end up at a locked door holding an empty water bottle. The dining list keeps live status for every location so you can check from bed instead.

Before you go

  1. Scan the list

mguide.app/dining lists dining halls, cafes, and markets across campus. Open places show how long until they close. Closed places say so up front, with no walk required to find out.

  2. Read the menu first

Tap a dining hall and open its menu. Menus are posted by meal, so you can see what dinner actually is before deciding the walk is worth it.

  3. Mind the meal period

A hall can be open for lunch and dark at 2:30. The status line tells you which meal period is running, not just a vague 'open'.

  4. Fall back to the cafes

Between meal periods the cafes and markets usually keep going. They live in the same list, so the backup plan is already on screen.
