These sections have no physical room on the interactive map. There are currently 399 remote or online sections in the UMich schedule of classes. About Virtual Sections

Some University of Michigan courses are offered fully online or in a hybrid format with no assigned classroom. These sections appear in the Registrar's Schedule of Classes without a room or building assignment. MGuide shows in-person class locations on an interactive campus map — virtual sections are excluded from the room directory because they have no physical location to display.

Finding Your Classes

If your course is in-person, search for your building or room on mguide.app to get walking directions, floor plans, and real-time schedule information. If your class is listed as virtual or remote, check your course's Canvas page or the Registrar's Schedule of Classes for connection details.
